From time to time you will be asked to weigh in on matters important to the recovery community. FAVOR SC & Chapters alert and provide a vehicle for its members, partners and supporters to notify their elected officials. Thus, adding in their voices to those around the state and around the country who want to end discrimination against those in and seeking recovery from substance use disorders.

Program Funding Initiatives

On behalf of FAVOR SC, the statewide Recovery Advocacy Organization, FAVOR Chapters assembled a talented team to vie for Federal Government funding to support recovery initiatives in our community and across the state. Staff collaborated with volunteer resources from Winthrop University to successfully attract a three-year Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration – Recovery Community Services Program – Statewide Network grant.
